​Hello, my name is Jane I am the owner of the Alterations To Fit Your Needs.

​My love for sewing started at a very young age.
My grandfather was a tailor of custom made suits and coats. I was two years old when I got my very first Singer sewing machine when he passed away.
My mother introduced me to sewing, she was a self taught seamstress who loved the trade. We spent many summer days sewing beautiful dresses from patterns in interesting designs. When I was in the 9th grade I made a wonderful coat for my self on my grandfather's old yet beloved sewing machine. It was then that I knew that I wanted to be a tailor and I've loved doing it ever since.

I graduated from a two year Sewing College in Estonia and got a tailor/seamstress diploma.
I worked in Canada at a high-end designer/ alteration shop.
I have Ballroom Dancing Gown tailoring experience and Native American Art sewing experience.
Worked in Florida for 10 years in an Alteration Shop with a very outstanding reputation.
